Harms Family Picnic

This weekend we made a quick trip back to Rochelle, IL to attend the annual Harms Family Picnic at Kole's parents house. Despite rough travel with delays and cancellations both ways we had a wonderful time visiting with Kole's parents and brother and hanging with the entire (almost) Harms side at the picnic on Saturday. Thanks Dick and Janaan for making it possible for us to be there!There was a water balloon fight that went on for quite some time, at this point it was back and forth from the front to back. Puerto Vallarta

We went to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for a little sun and relaxation back in June. Our friends, Jenn and Matt came along and we had a blast! The weather was kind of gray and rainy most of the week, but we got plenty of eating, drinking, and relaxing in. We had a wonderful vacation!

House Updates

We bought our house on August 20th, 2008, it was built in 1999 and the previous owners had made no updates. We have slowly been updating, we painted the whole house with the help of Kole's wonderful parents when we moved in, and we purchased new family room, dinning room, and master bedroom furniture as well as a refrigerator and microwave. We continue to make little updates all the time. We love our house and a year later we are happy to report that it feels like home!

Lexi was an excellent driver!

This weekend we went up to Red Feather Lakes to spend the night with friends in their cabin. The cabin was really quaint with electricity, but no running water. Not to worry though, it came with its own outhouse! We had so much fun riding 4-wheelers, fishing, visiting and just relaxing and taking in the beautiful scenery that was all around us. We took Lexi along and enjoyed spending time with her. Thanks Matt, Jenn & Ashtyn, we always have a blast and love how much we laugh when we're all together!
