Uncle Brian

Uncle Brian came to visit for the weekend, he was finished with training in Pueblo and had a few days leave before having to report back to Texas, we try to clear the calendar when he comes to town and spend as much time as possible with him because we never know when the next time will be. We love you Uncle Brian and miss you tons, but are VERY proud to call you our brother (und uncle)!

Harms Family Picnic

We took a second trip to Illinois for the weekend to attend the annual Harms Family Picnic, the family got together to celebrate Kole's college graduation and wish him farewell before he moved out to Colorado and they had so much fun that they now get together every summer. It's a lot of fun because almost his entire extended family on both sides lives out in Illinois so we get to see everyone when we go back for the picnic and Christmas. Payton did great again, she really is easy to travel with so far and is very comfortable staying at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Thanks for having us we had a wonderful weekend!! Josh and Michelle came to visit at the hotel since they don't live too far away, we hadn't seen them since Payton was born so we were really glad they made the trip!

Keystone Getaway & Kole's Birthday

We spent another great weekend with the Trujillo family up in Keystone and it happened to be over Kole's 28th birthday. We went up on Friday afternoon and after getting settled in the condo we headed up to Breckenridge to walk around and have dinner. On Saturday we took the kiddos swimming, well Payton and Ashtyn swam and little Eli laid by the side of the pool and watched. We had the pool and hot tub to ourselves the whole time we were there so it was really nice. After the pool the kids were wiped and all went down for a nap. The four of us sat out on the deck and had margaritas and snacks, it was so nice! Saturday night we celebrated Kole's birthday with his favorite meal that Jenn cooks and went to bed early. Apparently we're pretty boring these days! On Sunday we walked to Keystone Village and had breakfast at the cafe that's on the little lake. Miss Ashtyn got to feed the fish and watch the people in paddle boats, she though it was pretty neat. She is so much fun and has such a personality, it's hard to believe she was 6 months old when the 4 of us first went to Keystone, time is flying by so fast. Thanks Trujillos for a wonderful, relaxing weekend, the weather was perfect and it was awesome to have no plan! We are very lucky to have such great friends that are easy to travel with. We love you guys!

3 Months

Payton is 3 months old and has now been to her first baseball game! My dad takes us all to one Rockies game each season and Payton got to join us this year. I wasn't sure how she would do because it was an evening game on a pretty hot day, but she did great! She was in awe of all of the people and the lights. She didn't make it the whole game, but we had fun while it lasted. Thanks dad! She is still smiling all the time and she gets really close to laughing just hasn't let it out yet. In the last month she has become much more aware of her surroundings. She reaches for the toys on her play mat and will follow people as they walk across the room. She loves to talk, especially to daddy and she has really been enjoying bath-time, she loves to splash! She is so much fun to be around as she gets more interactive. I haven't taken her to the doctor to get her measured yet I am hoping to in the next couple of days. Enjoy the pictures!
