Halloween Weekend Fun

***Warning: this post is picture-full!!

The first set of pictures are actually from a couple weekends ago when Payton went to carve pumpkins with Papa and Debra, this was always something my dad loved to to with us as kids so I love that Payton got to share that with him this year

Trying to spoil lunch with a pink frosted doughnut, only Papa can get away with that

Love this pic!

Not the best pic, but proof Debra was watching over ;)

I think she had fun!
On Saturday morning we met the Trujillos up in Longmont to watch the annual Halloween Parade and let the kids trick or treat. Payton and Eli didn't get the trick or treating part, but Ashtyn had a blast. The little ones were happy to play in the street and watch the people all dressed up.

We had lunch at a local restaurant to warm up, always an experience with 3 little ones and we never seem to get very good service. Oh well, the time with friends is well worth it!

Saturday night Bri came to play and stay the night, Payton had been invited to a Halloween birthday party at the neighbors, so the girls dressed up for the occasion. Totally a coincidence that they are both lady bugs!

Sunday morning our awesome neighbor came knocking at our door asking if we wanted to send our broken branches with him to the disposal place. Yes please! The storm last week destroyed all the trees in the area, very sad. Payton just HAD to go out and help daddy. She's in this stage where she loves to help and daddy is her favorite person to lend a helping hand to.

I love, love, love the relationship they have

Sunday evening we went to dinner at nana's to visit and got to spend time with Aunt Patty who was in town for the weekend, always a special treat. We had yet to carve our pumpkins we picked so we carted them to nana's with us and got the job done.  Payton couldn't wait to "help" her daddy some more.

Always an added bonus when Uncle Steve joins us!

Monday, we made the rounds to Papa's, Nana's, and Uncle Josh and Aunt Kelsey's so Payton could trick or treat, show off her costume and watch other trick or treaters. She wasn't thrilled to be all dressed up and on display, but came around when she saw there were treats involved. She loved seeing the trick or treaters at Aunt Kelsey's house, she would run to the door when the kids came.

Hope you had a Happy Halloween, we had a full weekend of it and had a blast!
(I am glad it's over though!)
